What is a superseded part?
The Honda Company replaced older parts with newer ones. They did it in order to improve the quality of the parts. You will recognize a superseded part in our shop easily. In our product description, we mark the part as superseded. Do not worry about superseded parts, they are in almost 100% accordance to the Honda specification of the older part.

Does Classic Cycle City has all offered parts in stock?
We have a huge inventory in our warehouse and we have many parts in stock. If you take a look at our stock information on the product page, you are able to see if your requested part is in stock. If we do not have the ordered part in stock, we are able to get all available parts from Honda within 48 hours.

Does Classic Cycle City sell only classic Honda parts?
We are specialized in classic Honda models like CB 350, CB 400, CB 450, CB 500, CB 550 and especially the CB750 SOHC. In case you need parts for other models, please let us know and we will make you an offer.

Does Classic Cycle City deal only with genuine Honda parts?
We do not deal only with genuine honda parts. We manufacture our own classic motorcycle parts, too. Explore our shop and you will find awesome and high quality parts, made by Classic Cycle City.
Of course, we sell parts of other major brands, too.

Are genuine Honda parts interchangeable between the different models?
Some parts are interchangeable between the different models and some are not. Mostly nuts, bolts and engine parts are interchangeable or made to fit more models. On our product page, we let you know if a part will fit more models.

Are all parts for the classics still available from Honda?
In contrast with other motorcycle manufacturers, the parts situation at Honda is very good. At the moment, almost every part is still available, but for how long is depending on demand. A good choice would be to store the super rare parts like exhausts and chrome parts now, because they will increase in price regularly. So hurry up to fill up your personal stock.

What is the secret of a Honda part #?
A genuine Honda part number consists of three parts, e.g. 11397-300-306.
The first five digit part describes the replacement part as itself, e.g. "11397" is a alternator cover gasket. The three digit middle part describes the model. According to the example above "300" for a CB750 SOHC. The last part consists details about the manufacturer and parts improvements. In case of painted parts there are added two additonal letters in the last part like 61301-300-020 AZ, a headlight bowl in candy blue green for a K0 in contrast to a K2 headlight bowl with number 61301-3000-10B.

"92101" ~ HEX bolt, "060" ~ thread: M6, "550A" ~ lenght: 55 mm.
"93500" ~ CROSS SCREW, "060" ~ thread: M6, "800A" ~ lenght 80 mm.

What is the meaning of the "R" at the beginning of the Honda part #?
The "R" at the beginning of a Honda part number declares the part as a reproduction part. Thes are reproduced parts of not longer available Honda parts.

How can I find out which CB750 SOHC model I own?
You can identify your model by the serial and engine #.
